Hello everyone! It’s been a while since we last updated you on the progress of The Local Theatre, and that’s mainly because there’s been so much of it that we haven’t had time to write blog posts! So today we’re here to do our big reveal – the location of the new Local Theatre!
The theatre will be at 24-26 Snig Hill, Sheffield, S3 8NB!. It’s a perfect location for us, with bus stops right outside and the tramline 3 minutes walk away! You can have a peek at it on Google Maps here, or stop by – we will be in and renovating the building from 4th March, so please come and say hello!
We are also looking for volunteers to help with the painting and decorating – more on that here.
The Local Theatre building was formerly The Snig Hill Gallery, and is right next to the wonderful Albie’s Coffee – go and check them out for a nice cosy place to chill out.
We will have more exciting announcements coming up at the end of this week, when we reveal the shows programmed for our opening season, April-July 2019! Final touches on the brochure are happening now, and we’re really looking forward to sharing all the amazing performances with you.
