The door opens, the door closes. Ross returns from his tedious office job just as Bibi leaves for another night behind the bar. This is being twenty-something in 2019: sharing a flat, a life, and a pessimistic outlook on the future with your best friend, but barely seeing each other. It isn’t the dream, but it’s what they have. When their fragile balance is disturbed, they are forced to reconsider their choices.
This spoken word theatre show discusses queerness, found family, and the socio-financial struggles of a generation that was promised the universe, but gifted a broken world.
